3D Facade Panels
Sculptural facades. Seamlessly finished.
Our new 3D facade panel system has been especially developed for clients who want texture and depth on a building's exterior, without visible joins.
Each panel is installed in a set sequence, then finished on site with our X-Bond Microcement and Liquid Membrane. The result is one continuous, textured surface that reads as a single sculpted form rather than a series of panels.
How It Works
The system has three stages. Panels are purchased individually, so the system scales from a feature wall to a full elevation.
Builders can buy the panels and install them by following our installation guide. If you're based in Victoria, our team can install the panels for you. Either way, the Liquid Membrane and X-Bond finish is applied by Alt Surfaces or a certified X-Bond installer, so every facade gets the same seamless result.so every facade gets the same seamless result.
Stage 1
First, the panels are fixed to the facade in a set layout so the pattern carries across the whole wall.
Stage 2
Next, the joins are sealed with Liquid Membrane to create a continuous base.
Stage 3
Finally, X-Bond Mineral finish is applied over the full surface for a seamless, textured finish.
Why specify?
Seamless finish
Panel joins disappear under the finish, leaving one continuous, sculptural surface across the whole facade.
Six Designs
Six 3D patterns give you distinct architectural expression without the cost or lead time of custom fabrication.
Proven Craft
It's finished with X-Bond, the hand-applied microcement Alt Surfaces has been installing across Victoria for over 25 years.
Flexible Installation
Builders can install the panels using our guide, or our Victorian team can do it, with the finish applied by Alt Surfaces or a certified X-Bond installer.

Proven on the coast
Our first installation is on a bayside home right on the beach, where the facade is exposed to wind, salt air and coastal weather every day. It shows what the system can do in one of the most demanding settings in Victoria, and it looks incredible doing it.

Yes, a waterproofing membrane is required to be installed first to any wet areas. We use our own liquid membrane which works excellently with X-Bond as it has advanced anti-fracture and waterproof properties.
-
As X-Bond is sealed and not left in a raw state, it is not pourous. This means water does not seep into the surface.

If X-Bond is installed in your bathroom, caulking would be required post installation by a professional caulker. It is up to the client if they would like caulking done in other areas of their project, however it's only necessary in wet areas.
