As a family run business, we’re very proud to support a foundation that’s close to our families hearts; The Australian Alzheimer’s Research foundation.

With an aging population a far larger proportion of our community will be affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia in the coming years. The sad reality is that despite currently being the second largest cause of death, research into Alzheimer’s disease in Australia is underfunded and urgent action is essential. We have sadly witnessed family members live with this disease, and know first hand the devastating effects this disease has on loved ones. We are proud to have become a partner with the Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation (not-for-profit) who are are supporting medical research into Alzheimer’s disease, to create a world in which Alzheimer’s Disease no longer exists.

KEEPING YOUR BRAIN ACTIVE:

Mental exercise helps to build new brain cells and strengthen connections between them. This helps to give the brain more ‘reserve’ or ‘back up’ so that it can cope better and keep working properly if any brain cells are damaged or die. Keeping your brain active, much like your body, is very important at all times of life. By solving brain games and puzzles, you’re working out your brain and reducing your brain age. It’s a simple way to keep yourself sharp. Every Tuesday we will be sharing some brain games on our Instagram to help keep your brain active!
